From Dr Neil Bacon, President and CEO, ICHOM: This month I have been meeting more and more partners and organisations who are implementing standard sets and have adopted the VBHC approach. It's fantastic to see so many providers using outcomes data to enable them to practice more efficiently, enhance performance and improve healthcare overall.
I was also asked to speak at the NSW Value Based Healthcare Forum which took place this week. Click on the video button below to watch my session on an International Perspective of VBHC.

Spotlight on Standard Sets
Just a reminder that our surveys for Anxiety, Depression, OCD and PTSD in Children and Young People and Overall Adult Health are still live and we would really appreciate your response. The Anxiety and Depression survey is an open review for professionals, and the overall adult survey is looking for patient respondents.

Conferences Corner
Planning for our two 2020 conferences is underway! We will be announcing the date and venue for our European event in the next newsletter.

The agenda steering committee is about to start planning the conference agenda, if you would like to apply to be part of this committee please email info@ichom.org.

Online Community
ICHOM are considering developing an online community specifically designed to help members come together in a digital environment.

Members will be able to meet regularly to discuss a particular topic or problem, share knowledge and experience, hear from partner organisations, and hold special online workgroups or other related activities.

We would be very grateful for your participation in our survey - your responses will be extremely helpful in our planning.

Podcasts
Our first podcast will be launching soon and we are excited to announce that our first interviewee is Sir Muir Gray.

Sir Muir has worked for the National Health Service in England since 1972, occupying a variety of senior positions during that time, including serving as the Director of Research and Development for Anglia and Oxford Regional Health Authority, and becoming the Director of the UK National Screening Committee.

Sir Muir is working on the Value Based Healthcare theme within the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences.
