From Dr Neil Bacon, President and CEO, ICHOM: This month I have recorded a short video detailing all of our exciting news. If you have any questions or comments regarding this newsletter, please contact my colleague Sarah Gray - s.gray@ichom.org
Spotlight on Standard Sets
We are excited to announce that our manuscript for our Heart Failure Standard Set has been accepted to JACC Heart Failure. More information will be available soon.

French Centres Adopt ICHOM Standards: ICHOM recently appeared in the Eurotimes when Dr Francis Lignereux discussed the need for benchmarking and quality control for French cataract surgeons.
"Three French ophthalmic centres...have recently adopted the standard set for cataract surgery developed by the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM). Between the three centres, more than 40 practitioners carry out around 15,000 surgeries every year...Overall, the ICHOM methodology should allow surgeons to objectively measure the value of the healthcare they provide to their patients, and is well suited for use in daily clinical practice."
Let us know your thoughts - outcomes for depression and anxiety in youth: We have brought together an international Working Group including healthcare professionals, researchers, young people with experience of seeking help for anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and parents. This group has developed a recommendation for which outcomes are essential to measure, and how best to do so. Measuring the right outcomes helps service-users and healthcare providers understand whether mental health support has been helpful. It also helps understand where care might be improved.

We’d like to know if you agree! Please let us know your feedback on the relevance of these outcomes and measures.

This survey is intended for those over 18, with experience of anxiety, depression (including OCD or PTSD) as a child or young person, as well as parents or carers. Click on the button below to take the survey.
Overall Adult Health Standard Set: Just a reminder that our patient and open review surveys for Overall Adult Health are live and we would really appreciate your response.
ICHOM's Partnership Programme - We are introducing ICHOM's newly developed Partnership Programme. The aim of this programme is to train partner organisations to become ICHOM certified in areas including implementation and data collection.
