From Dr Neil Bacon, President and CEO, ICHOM: This month both Dr Mona Khalid and I have been speaking at events, promoting value based healthcare across the globe in San Diego and Milan respectively.

October has been very exciting! Our first podcast was launched last week. Over 850 people downloaded my discussion with Sir Muir Gray, and I am very much looking forward to releasing episode 2 next week. See below for more information!

November is already set to be a busy month, with the launch of our 2020 conference in Barcelona, developments on our online community and the start of our partner programme. As always if you have any questions or comments, please contact my colleague s.gray@ICHOM.org

See you next month!

.
As you can see above, we have recently commenced work on a set for Autism Spectrum Disorder, and we currently have requests for Multiple Myeloma, Iliofemoral DVT, Obesity, Head and Neck Cancer, Pediatric Diabetes and Sepsis. If you are interested in sponsoring these sets or have funding for alternative sets, please email s.byrne@ichom.org

There is still time to let us know your thoughts - outcomes for depression and anxiety in youth: Our working group has developed a recommendation for which outcomes are essential to measure, and how best to do so. Measuring the right outcomes helps service-users and healthcare providers understand whether mental health support has been helpful. It also helps providers understand where care might be improved.

We’d like to know if you agree! Please let us know your feedback on the relevance of these outcomes and measures.

This survey is intended for those over 18, with experience of anxiety, depression (including OCD or PTSD) as a child or young person, as well as parents or carers. Click on the button below to take the survey.
Overall Adult Health Standard Set: Just a reminder that our patient and open review surveys for Overall Adult Health are live and we would really appreciate your response.
