From Dr Neil Bacon, President and CEO, ICHOM: This month both Dr Mona Khalid and I have been speaking at events, promoting value based healthcare across the globe in San Diego and Milan respectively.

October has been very exciting! Our first podcast was launched last week. Over 850 people downloaded my discussion with Sir Muir Gray, and I am very much looking forward to releasing episode 2 next week. See below for more information!

Overall Adult Health, Adult Dental Health, Hand & Wrist Conditions, Overall Pediatric Health, Overall Newborn Health, Depression and Anxiety in Children & Young People, Disorders Related to Substance Use or Addictive Behaviours, Personality Disorders, Psychotic Disorders.
As you can see above, we have recently commenced work on a set for Autism Spectrum Disorder, and we currently have requests for Multiple Myeloma, Iliofemoral DVT, Obesity, Head and Neck Cancer, Pediatric Diabetes and Sepsis. There is still time to let us know your thoughts - outcomes for depression and anxiety in youth: Our working group has developed a recommendation for which outcomes are essential to measure, and how best to do so. Measuring the right outcomes helps service-users and healthcare providers understand whether mental health support has been helpful. It also helps providers understand where care might be improved.

We’d like to know if you agree! Please let us know your feedback on the relevance of these outcomes and measures.
